Under Standing Our Terms and conditions

Zanzibar Dive Center is the trading name of the online travel agent platform at www.zanzibardive.com.

The following Terms and Conditions apply generally to all services offered by Zanzibar Dive and the use of the website Zanzibardive.com

Please ensure you carefully read the Terms and Conditions. Your payment for any of the Diving, confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  1. Zanzibar dive acts as a disclosed agent for the Diving providers (the ‘service provider/s’)
  2. By booking on the Zanzibar Dive website, you enter a contract directly with the selected service provider/s.
  3. Bookings are subject to the Diving providers’ terms and conditions, and policies and you should read these before proceeding with your booking.

​For any other service provider on the Zanzibar Dive website, such as service providers’ complete list of terms and conditions are found on their page before checking out.

ROLE AS AGENT

  1. Our role as an agent is limited to facilitating bookings and arranging documentation.

OFFER TO PURCHASE AND CONTRACT

  1. A Zanzibar Dive booking is an offer by you to purchase the relevant service as offered on the Zanzibar Dive website.
  2. CONTRACT: A contract for the service arises directly between you Zanzibar Dive sends you a confirmation email and itinerary indicating that your booking has been accepted, and processed your card payment. It is not until you receive a booking confirmation email from us or your card has been charged that your selected service/s is/are booked and paid and your booking with the service provider/s is finalized.

ROLE OF PURCHASE

  1. By making a booking through Zanzibar dive you warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
  2. Zanzibar Dive have a right to accept or reject bookings at our discretion.
  3. Zanzibar Dive does not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract or otherwise, for the acts, omissions, or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of any represented service provider/s whom Zanzibar Dive has no direct control over.

NO LIABILITY

  1. Zanzibar Dive always tries to settle any issues or complaints quickly and fairly. Any correspondence should be sent to us by email.

Considerations

  • When planning your trip please take into account the PADI diving and flying guidelines:
  • For 1 dive you must not fly less than 12 hours after your last dive.
  • For multiple dives (2 or more) you must not fly less than 18 hours after your last dive. As our diving usually finishes at 1:00 p.m., this would mean you should not fly before 7:00 a.m. the next day. For more safety, we highly recommend 24 hours.

Transport to Diving center.

We providing transfer if you will dive near where you choose to dive with us according to our Diving Location and you will stay in that location.

Please Notes: if you will not stay at the same location we will charge you extra payment for transport.

CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS

  • Refunds can only be given if the booking is canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice. 

No refund can be given to the following:

  • Cancellations made within less than 24 hours will be charged at the full rate (including no shows in the morning).
  • Canceled dives on the boat will be fully charged (including Discover Scuba dives).
  • Bad weather in the morning, unless it makes the trip unsafe, is not a reason to cancel the trip.
  • Divers who are not allowed to dive due to a missing medical clearance
  • Divers who cannot equalize
  • Divers who decide not to dive due to personal reasons
  • Guests who do not arrive on time at the specified meeting point
  • For cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice, we will charge 10% of the prepaid amount.

Rescheduling of dives during courses

  • Courses are taken longer than our schedule will be charged the extra days.
  • If the course days have to be rescheduled because the minimum requirement of theory training hasn’t been reached, the days will be charged extra.
  • Rescheduling cannot be guaranteed and is depending on the availability of an instructor and space on the boat.
  • Courses that cannot be completed will be charged for the training that has been done and a referral form will be issued.
