Snorkeling Mnemba Atoll Matemwe, you can take a boat there for diving and snorkeling. This is private island is almost as beautiful as the Barrier Reef at Kichwani Dive site. Matemwe has a beautiful white sand beach that Zanzibar is famous for.
Snorkeling Nungwi and Kendwa have the most popular snorkeling schools in Zanzibar island on the Northside of Zanzibar, close to the sandbank. Kendwa is a bit more laid back than Nungwi but still with lots of action.
Especially the east coast of the island is protected by coral reefs that make swimming safe – no sharks or huge waves.

Jambiani Lagoon is home to our seahorses, typically found over the sandy and seagrass areas, the dive continues to the far side of the Eastern reef where we often spot frog fish, leaf fish and even harlequin shrimp.
